Democrat Billionaires Have Promoted California Democrats & Now Are Moving Away From The Wreckage
and leaving the Middle Class with the tax bill
Mark Zuckerberg is the latest billionaire who is packing his California bags for a “no tax” state. While it’s a free country to do such things, everyone should take notice that Zuckerberg and others like him have been promoting the political fortunes of Democrats for years.
Now that things are bad and big taxes are coming due, Zuckerberg and others are moving away from California and leaving the wreckage behind. That level of hypocrisy is hard to beat.
In the meantime, California’s dwindling middle class will have to pay the taxes Zuckerberg and so many others are avoiding.
The World knows California is likely the worst run state in the Country.
It is 50th in affordability. 50th in Opportunity. It has the highest energy prices. It is worst among places to start a business. It has a high crime rate, scores low in education and is ground zero for the insurance crisis.
None of that, of course, is mere coincidence. The Democrats have dominated California’s legislature and governor’s office for more two decades. Indeed, they have held the Governor’s office for the last 15 years.
While Zuckerberg has a mixed history of donating to Democrats and Republicans, for years, his Facebook empire restricted and shadow banned Republican communications – my communications included.
Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin left California too. Google has notoriously used Google’s search engine dominance to the detriment of Republican candidates and voices. Page is what is known as a Climate Donor as in Sergey Brin. The latter was an Obama donor.
Facebooks and Google’s policy of promoting Democrats and limiting Republican communication helped California Democrats get elected.
Doordash Founder Andy Fang, an Obama Foundation donor and a Biden donor, wrote that the billionaire’s tax “could wipe me out…” and that it would be “irresponsible for me not to plan (on) leaving the state.”
The list goes on.
The point is that the Democrat party of California and the national Democrat Party have been moving progressively Left for decades. That is not new to history. Indeed, it has been a predictable pattern in history.
In the final analysis, Big Tech and other Democrat billionaires have funded or otherwise helped the Democrats move to the Left knowing that Democrat politicians desired to raise taxes.
They have fed that alligator and now it is coming for them.
In an act of utter hypocrisy, they are leaving the wreckage and leaving the Middle Class to pay for the deficits as I wrote below.
